It's Spirit Day today. The day where people wear the color purple to show support for LGBT young people who are victims of bullying.
Sadly I don't own anything purple, so here's a purple Black Lollipop poster.
Man on the left, Ramon Clark, former member of Black Blood, is bisexual, but at first, as a "healthy young man", he liked women, but in his early twenties he discovered his love for men too. He wasn't really bullied, but being in the metal scene, what quite wears the image of the testerone-filled manly man, he found it quite difficult to reveal it. But when he did, he wasn't treated any different. The other members didn't care he's bisexual.
Now the dude on the right, Victoria (what is OF COURSE not his real name, I keep that a secret for a while) is gay and he's a fan of the women's fashion and to wear it. Now his story is heavier. He discovered his homosexuality in his early teen years when he got a crush on one of his male (straight) classmates. And his coming-out wasn't really out of free will. And thanx to that, Victoria finds it quite difficult to be gay in public.
Homosexuality and the coming-out-of-the-closet will play an important part in Black Lollipop.
Ho, shiet O3O I didn't even know today was Purple Spirit Day I'm so happy! Last year I said to myself "I will wear purple on spirit day next year! >C" But I forgot about it, and on a whim(and the sheer coldness) I wore my purple striped hoodie. I'm gonna save this day on my calander so I won't forget next year >C
